Bio: Jerry Reis created Property Advisers Realty, Inc., in 1995 as principal/broker, after starting his real estate career in 1984 with the Jackson Shaw Company, a Dallas based developer of commercial properties.
He has a degree in Business Administration from The University of North Texas and is a 1977 graduate. Upon graduation, his first opportunity was with Owens Corning Fiberglas in the building materials division. He managed several companies distributing building products, including one he started himself, which was acquired by ABC Supply Group in 1984. His early years in business provided him the opportunity to strengthen his management skills while his career with Jackson Shaw provided valuable real estate experience. The lessons learned in the real estate markets of the late 80’s and early 90’s provided the skills from which he manages the growth of Property Advisers today. As President of the Company, Jerry is involved in the overview of all operations. As a Broker, he works to assistant the marketing staff in closing transactions and is involved in creating effective programs to ensure the objectives of the ownership groups are achieved on schedule. Jerry is a member of The North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, The National Association of Realtors, The North Texas CCIM Chapter and the Great SouthWest Industrial District Association. He is a Trustee for the Hatton W. Sumners Foundation and several other boards to include Big Brothers/Sisters of Arlington, an organization for which he was a Big Brother to the same youth for 12 years and was Board President in 1992.
